Knowing how important it is for dogs both mentally and physically to play, sniff, run around and stretch their legs, our guests are exercised together so they can interact with each other. This way they get a lot more play time and in other words, dogs can be dogs!

We match the energy level, size and age of the dogs so their stay will be a pleasurable one. Our kennel is a quiet and stress free environment as we do not take excessive barkers and any aggression is not tolerated.
Your dog(s) will come back to you relaxed and happy! We do not charge for every little thing, like ‘extra playtime’. Your dog will be able to run and play with others 4 times a day in an off leash setting!
At our kennels, all the dogs can see each other unlike some other kennels that have enclosed runs where dogs feel isolated and insecure. We provide a calm atmosphere so the stress of boarding is minimized.
We provide calming music or talk radio 24/7 and there is a night light for bedtime. Being a small kennel, your dog will have lots of individual attention. We want to maintain a small ‘home away from home’ feeling.
All socialization is supervised in our fully fenced 8000 sq ft grass play area (no concrete here!) complete with paddling pool in the summer. If your dog is well behaved and has good recall, there is another fully fenced, 3 acres for them to roam around and a creek for them to play in.
We offer plenty of exercise and guarantee lots of outside play time! The dogs in our care have a healthy balance of exercise and private nap time. It’s a true Country Escape for their holiday!
It’s no wonder they love coming to stay at ‘Escape to the Country’… be warned though … they may not want to leave… but are always happy to return!
