Long Weekends require FULL payment at least 7 days in advance of the drop off date and 30 days prior for Easter/Christmas. This is non-refundable. The dates that you book, you will be charged for as we are holding that kennel space at your request.

There is a minimum 5 night stay/charge for Easter and Christmas reservations that fall on, or between:
Easter: March 28 – April 1, 2024 and Christmas: Dec 22, 2024 – Jan 2, 2025 (both inclusive)

We like to leave the choice of how to pay to you, but if you leave the property without prior payment, the credit card on file will be charged as we need to close invoices out in a timely manner. Thanks for your understanding!

Our pick up and drop off times have been specifically selected to allow us to care for your pet. We have scheduled times set aside for cleaning, exercise and feeding. We live on the property, so we need to maintain set windows of time for our clients. We appreciate your respect of this!

We are CLOSED for PICK UP and DROP OFF:  Every Saturday, Easter Sunday, December 25 & 26.

Drop off times: 9:00 – 10:00am or 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
You are charged for the day/night of arrival.

Pick up times: 9:00 – 10:00 am or 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
Evening pick ups incur a charge of $30/dog daycare fee.

If you are late (after 10am or 6pm), there is a $20/15 min charge. Please arrive within the hour given.

• We are closed daily between 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• If an ‘out of hours’ drop off or pick up needs to be arranged, there will be a $50 charge. This is for Sunday – Friday outside of regular hours.
  We are still CLOSED every Saturday and no pick ups or drop offs are accommodated.

A 25% deposit is required on all reservations and is non-refundable without 7 days notice of cancellation. A Minimum 2 night stay is required.

We accept email transfer payments sent to info@escapetothecountry.ca. Alternatively you can call us at 403-618-0760 to provide us with your credit card number or pay through ‘Stripe’ on your account. This will hold the kennel reservation.

FULL payment is required  14 days prior to Long Weekends and 30 days prior for Easter/Christmas to the start date of your booking and is NON-REFUNDABLE. You will be charged for the dates that you book, so please make sure they are correct.

Please refer to the ‘Rates’ section above for information on holiday rates and minimums.

• Food – Include your dog’s name and quantities clearly labelled for AM/PM feeding!
  (Just enough for their stay plus an extra 2 days worth in case of travel delays)

If on a Raw Diet, please portion feedings INDIVIDUALLY into Ziplock freezer bags!

• Blanket or Towel  (but not guaranteed to come back in the same condition)
• Toy (if desired, but not guaranteed to come back in the same condition)
• Medication – if required, instructions clearly labelled. If MULTIPULE (more than 2) meds are to be given, please have them pre packed together per feeding. It takes a lot of extra time to open a bunch of individual containers when we have 35 dogs to feed and give meds to. 
• NO food or water bowls please. We have stainless steel bowls for all dogs.
• Biscuit treats are supplied but you can also bring your own.

We require all dogs to have vaccines administered a minimum of 10 days in advance of boarding!

• Distemper
• Parvo
• Rabies
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough).

If in doubt please discuss this with us. You must bring proof of vaccinations when you arrive. This is for the safety and well being of all dogs boarded. In lieu of vaccinations, we will accept titre testing.

K9 Advantix II can be supplied for $18/dog on location at the kennel. This treatment is a topical application for the prevention of external parasites and is active for 30 days. *We buy it in bulk from our vet and pass the savings onto you!*

If you went to your vet, please bring proof of purchase of Revolution, Frontline, K9 Advantix II, NexGard or Simpirica (chewable). These are the ONLY brands accepted as other brands do cover all 3 external parasites. (Advantage Multi does NOT kill ticks and Bravecto does NOT kill lice).
We also highly recommend de-worming your dog at least 2 times/year (Spring/Fall).

As we are a private acreage, we welcome meet ‘n’ greets on Sundays only (by appointment) between 2:00 – 4:00 pm. We are located 30 mins SW of Calgary and 10 mins West of Okotoks. Specific directions will be sent upon request.
